Goose Island to open their first European Brewpub in London

Goose Island Beer Company have announced their first ever European Brewpub will open its doors on Wednesday, 21st November in Shoreditch, London. There will be beer, there will be pizza, there will be live music. Sounds like our kinda place!

Inspired by its beloved sister Brewpub in Chicago, the Shoreditch Brewpub will bring Goose Island brews previously unavailable in the UK such as Old Man Grumpy, Fog Bowl and Next Coast, alongside their world-famous Bourbon County Brand Stout, to name a few. READ MORE

O'Hara's Barrel Aged Leann Folláin Stout

O’Hara’s Brewery are one of the pioneers of Irish craft beer – and they’ve just announced the release of a barrel-aged version of one of our favourite stouts, Leann Folláin. Translating as ‘Wholesome Ale’, the regular Leann Folláin is a brilliant example of a full-bodied Irish stout, with biiiig hints of coffee and chocolate.

The 8th edition of the award-winning Barrel Aged Series: Leann Folláin has been aged for three months in first fill American bourbon oak barrels supplied by The Dublin Liberties Irish Whiskey Distillery, based in the heart of Dublin 8. READ MORE

Bourbon County Brand Stout 2018 coming to the UK

Goose Island have announced that their multi-award-winning Bourbon County Brand Stout will be available in the UK this Black Friday (23rd November).

Traditionally launched in the US on Black Friday, the bourbon-barrel-aged imperial stout will be available for £20 (16.9oz bottle) in limited quantities at Kill the Cat in Shoreditch and Ghost Whale in Brixton from 11am, and on Beer Hawk whilst stocks last from 1pm.

Fyne Ales Reveal New Branding

Family-owned Scottish brewery, Fyne Ales, have given their branding a makeover, and they’re looking pretty fiiiine! (See what we did there?) They’ve also unveiled plans to introduce new products to their core range, including two canned beers.

The brewery’s new look draws inspiration from its farm brewery status and rural location on a 4500-acre estate at the head of Loch Fyne.
