Verdant Brewing Co reached their crowdfunding target on Tuesday! In just a few short weeks, Verdant have raised £25k which will allow them to open their own sea food bar & taproom in their home, the seaside town of Falmouth, Cornwall.
Their plan is to open a relaxed space, where people can simply turn up and sample their awesome beers and try some amazing local sea food at the same time. Both will be super fresh as it’s all local produce.
Verdant brew a range of beers but they’re known for their stunning IPAs and DIPAs, having made a name for themselves over the last two years by creating some of the murkiest, hoppiest, tastiest, juice bombs the UK has seen to-date. You’ll be able to get them fresh in their new venue along with a range of seafood style tapas – mussels, scallops, chowder, that kind of thing.

They’ve already located operating, licensed premises in the heart of Falmouth – now they just need to make it their own. As such, you’d expect a fairly quick turnaround and indeed, their aim is to be open for Easter. Not long to wait, folks!
Verdant began when Adam & James decided they wanted to produce more hop-forward beers than were currently available in their local pub, so they started brewing in a shipping container in the Autumn of 2014. In 2018, they’ll open their own seafood tapas bar and taproom thanks to their crowdfunders! ?
