Hackney, London’s pub, The Pembury Tavern, recently participated in the initiative to provide free school meals for kids over half-term, offering free pizza for local families who needed it, no questions asked.
Inspired by Marcus Rashford’s continued efforts to ensure no kids go hungry who normally receive free school meals – and despite Labour’s bid to extend free school meals beyond term time having been rejected by MPs – Pembury Tavern were one of thousands of restaurants nationwide who stepped up to fill those plates.
KFC & Pizza Hut have teamed up to launch a limited edition chicken popcorn pizza to celebrate National Pizza Day.
National Pizza Day takes place on 9th February, but the pizza is available to order right now exclusively from the Pizza Hut website. It’ll only be available until 16th February, so you’ve got less than two weeks to get your hands on this killer combination.

Liverpool’s Crust scooped the award for best pizza in England and Wales in the UK Pizza Championships on Sunday, 6th October, as part of the 2019 Italian Awards.
