Northern Monk Crowdfund £500K Target in 3 Hours

Northern Monk started their crowdfunding campaign on Thursday; within just 3 hours, they’d raised their target of £500k.

The Leeds-based brewery laid out plans for the capital raised, with 100% of the money going towards growth and brand development. The plans include 8x 10,000 litre fermentation vessels to triple their brewing capacity, a new canning line capable of canning 8,000+ cans per hour and developing a wild beer and barrel-ageing programme. This will now become a reality, as they stormed their way to £500k in just 3 hours.

Disclaimer: lists like this are highly contentious, entirely subjective and you may disagree entirely, which is fair enough. There are so many wonderful new beers being produced nowadays, it’d be impossible for anyone to try them all, nevermind simplify them into a Top 10.
