Labour party leader Keir Starmer, stopped off at BrewDog’s Tower Hill bar yesterday to show his appreciation to BrewDog for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic in which they turned their talents from brewing to also making hand sanitiser distributed for free to front line staff.
BrewDog might have had their first weekend back serving customers but they never stopped working. They’ve helped in the national effort against coronavirus by making free hand sanitiser. Today we were here to say thank you. pic.twitter.com/OlGOFou2kb

BrewDog are no strangers to politics, having made beers previously poking fun at the likes of Boris, Putin and Trump, so it was no surprise to see a beer called Barnard Castle Eye Test added to their range as a result of Dominic Cummings recent trip to Durham.
The best thing about this beer though is that all profits from sales have funded the production of hand sanitiser with 100,000 bottles made as a result of 648,768 cans of Barnard Castle Eye Test sold.
Barnard Castle Eye Test Update:
It was the most demand we have ever seen for a beer.
The traffic crashed our @BrewDog website for 9 hours.
We sold 648,768 cans (all we could make).
This enabled us to make & donate over 100,000 bottles of sanitiser.Hope you guys enjoyed it! pic.twitter.com/uXf9TydTWW

BrewDog Co-Founder James Watt, has hinted that a second batch of the beer may be on it’s way, with all profits again going towards hand sanitiser production.
Everyone seemend to go a little bit crazy for this @BrewDog beer today.
So, should we brew another batch of it?
If we do, all the profits will go to funding the production of free sanitiser for the NHS & Health Care Charities as per the 1st batch. pic.twitter.com/G9gqWX75Qc
