2020’s been a funny old year, hasn’t it? Name an event, it’s probably been cancelled – festivals, sporting events, gigs – not happening. Thankfully, Beavertown have made alternative arrangements and you’re invited to join them.
Beavertown’s Summer 2.0h is a humorous summer line-up to replace the real-life events… with a very big twist. 2020 might not have those big, epic, moments, we all love. You know, like singing in a muddy field with thousands of others or sharing beers with friends at a festival. It’s the small moments that are getting us by this year and that’s why Beavertown have put together some small moments, with little gestures to save some summer fun.
You can sign up to Beavertown’s Summer 2.0h calendar by clicking the link here which will automatically add all of the events to your desktop calendar.
The first live event saw Beavertown replicate Glastonbury, albeit virtually, by live-streaming straight from a farm in Somerset on Friday 26th June. That was just the start, there’s lots more to come!
When Beavertown’s replacement ‘events’ come around – people can click on the invite and enjoy a let’s say… alternative experience on Beavertown – be it a live stream in a field, come rain or shine, or watching people being pelted with tennis balls. Beavertown will send friendly reminders with a link to tune in before the fun starts.
Heres the sign-up link again – it’ll only work on Desktop. Don’t forget to grab a beer while you’re attending. Beer is one of the simple pleasures that’ll see us through this weird ol’ Summer.
