ROOOOOOOOOAR. No wait, not that kind of Lion. Huddersfield’s Magic Rock Brewing Co have been acquired by Lion, one of Australasiaâs largest food and beverage companies, which is a subsidiary of Japanese drinks giant Kirin.
Magic Rock was formed in 2011 by Richard Burhouse in an old out-building of the family business in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Since then, they’ve grown to produce roughly 2.7 million pints of beer per year, sold all over the UK and exported to more than 25 countries worldwide. READ MORE
