Brooklyn Brewery are currently ‘On Tour’ in the UK in their fully-kitted out, bad-ass beer-serving bus! They’ve already stopped off in Glasgow and the next stop is Canal Mill, Leeds.

We’re often cynical when it come to mystery boxes… usually, a mystery box includes more than a few beers which are near their Best Before or aren’t selling well for whatever reason.
With that being said, we were big fans of BrewDog’s Fanzine concept because we trust them to deliver some exciting beers, so we’re not against the idea of surprise beers in general. In fact, it’s exciting if you know they’re going to be decent and Honest Brew are one of our favourite online beer retailers so we’re confident they can pleasantly surprise us too.
California has been an epicentre for the craft beer movement, so we were excited to hear that Craft Beer Residency is celebrating Californian brews from Sierra Nevada, Anchor and Stone in pubs across the UK now until 21st July 2018!
Over 100 pubs up and down the country are taking part with a wide range of Californian brews from the three pioneering breweries. UK breweries involved in this year’s Craft Beer Residency will be paying homage to the California theme with beer such as Thornbridge‘s California Sun, available in cask. READ MORE
Carlow Brewing Company have just announced the launch of Stiegl Radler Grapefruit in Ireland – this particular radler is 40% Stiegl Goldbräu and 60% fruit soda. With the weather we’ve been having in Ireland recently, it sounds like just the ticket for sunny days and BBQs.
The Stiegl brewery is the leading private brewery in Austria, established in Salzburg in 1492 and still family owned today.
Since the recent news that Heineken had purchased a minority stake in Beavertown, we’ve seen a number of high profile withdrawals from Beavertown’s Extravaganza. The festival scheduled for 7th-9th September 2018 will no longer have BrewDog, Cloudwater, Buxton, Verdant, DEYA, Evil Twin, The Veil, Brew By Numbers or Jester King in attendance (to name a few).
