O’Hara’s Brewery have just launched Eureka, a single hop IPA and the fifth beer in their Hop Adventure Series developed to showcase the most interesting hops from around the world.
O’Hara’s brewers took advantage of Urban Brewing, the innovative new micro-brewery, bar and restaurant located in the CHQ Building in Dublin to experiment with a dry hopped IPA using Eureka – a hop from Yakima Valley, USA.
The beer has since been refined and now graduates to become an official stop on the Hop Adventure journey. This particular hop, Eureka, was chosen for its strong bitterness, full body, resinous notes and tropical flavours including pineapple and grapefruit.
O’Hara’ Brewery, also known as Carlow Brewing Company, is an independent, family-owned business established in 1996 and one of the pioneers of craft beer in Ireland. This latest instalment in their Hop Adventure Series will be available in select bars, independent off-licences and retailers.
